Digital Orange ("we," "us," or "our") operates digitalorange.net. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us.
Information you give us
Contact form. When you submit our contact form we receive your name, email address, company (if provided), the service you're interested in, and your message. We use this to reply to you and for no other purpose. Submissions are delivered to us by email via Mailgun, our email service provider.
Client information. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to deliver services and handle billing — names, contact details, and project information — governed by your service agreement with us.
Phone numbers for text messaging. If you're a client and agree to coordinate by text message, we collect your mobile number for that purpose. SeeSMS Terms and the messaging section below.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (city-level), device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects device identifiers. Google's use of this data is described inGoogle's privacy policy. Tags are managed through Google Tag Manager.
Cloudflare analytics. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, provides performance and security analytics (such as real user monitoring of page-load speed). This operates without cross-site tracking.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure records basic request data (IP address, URL requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and your choices
Analytics cookies help us understand what's working; they are not used to sell you things around the internet. You can control cookies in several ways: block or delete them in your browser settings, browse with an ad/tracker blocker, or installGoogle's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fully with analytics cookies blocked.
Text messaging (SMS)
We use text messaging with clients for project coordination — scheduling, status updates, and service notifications — via Twilio, our messaging provider. Consent to receive texts is collected from clients directly (typically verbally, during onboarding or in the course of our work together) and is never a condition of purchasing services. Message frequency varies with project activity, and message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or replyHELP for assistance. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent for text messaging are not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own marketing.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide the services you've engaged us for
- To communicate about projects, invoices, and support
- To understand site usage and improve our content and services
- To protect the site and our business from fraud and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We don't run third-party ads.
When we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Mailgun (email delivery), Twilio (text messaging), and similar processors — each bound to use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy would continue to apply.
Retention
We keep contact form submissions and client communications as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete them. Analytics data is retained per Google's and Cloudflare's standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — contact us and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and the EEA/UK), you may have additional statutory rights to access, correction, deletion, and portability; we honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction. We will never discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted, our static-first architecture minimizes attack surface, and access to client information is limited to the people who need it.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
Our site and blog link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only digitalorange.net.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes to how we handle client data will be communicated directly.
